If anyone has ever played Minecraft with jerks before, you know how refreshing it can be to break away and create a world of your own. I’ve been working on a little world called Valhalla and I thought I’d share!
I should begin by giving some details about my texture pack. I use Steelfeather’s Enchanted Pack because it’s one of my favorites so far that I’ve found (also, Summerfields). I think this theme works perfectly for the theme of my world, so I’m sticking with it for the time being. While writing this I discovered the creator has made other texture packs, too and I can’t wait to check them out. It’s subtle romantic touches that help bring Valhalla to life! =D
This is the center fountain, recently RENOVATED! I’d love to make it a squid tank in the future! To the left you’ll see the Sarlacc Pit (Pub), Icecrown (Villager House), and Skyrim (Villager House). Yup, those are the names and yes, they’re named after exactly what you think they’re named after.
This is my house! It looks pretty cool on the outside but there’s nothing inside yet. Those are gorgeous, diamond blocks around the door and fancy jack-o-lanterns on the porch. It’s really cold in Valhalla, so sometimes the animals disappear into the ground. I think it’s a warmth thing. Also, all of the walkways are covered!
I needed more Villager housing (will they bunk together? I hope so because I spent a lot of time on this lodging house) so I constructed a larger building to hold more beds. If you know me at all, there’s no way I could construct a lodging house and not name it after Newsies. So, I give you – The Newboys’ Lodging House! LOL! You can see Haddenfield House (another random villager house). I like villagers, okay?
Here I give you, the Heisenberg Building – home of enchanting and eventually, brewing. You get a chance here to see Iron and Gold Blocks, an Enchanting Table, nether chest, etc. Everything looks unique in Steelfeather’s Enchanted Pack! Even most of the wool looks different depending on the color!!
Finally, Rainbow Sheep. Amazing.
That’s all I have for screenshots right now, but I’d love to share what the inside of some of these buildings look like. Although some of the artwork for paintings is really cool, others leave something to be desired. I think my ultimate goal is to make my own texture pack; anyone know how something about that? If you have cool ideas for adding to my Minecraft town, let me know! I always love the inspiration.
